If your vehicle is equipped with the Audio Plus with Remote or Premium Audio with Remote Connected Services by Toyota multimedia packages, you will also be able to use the Remote Connect and Service Connect features with the app. As long as your vehicle is in an area where there is reliable cellular service and your smartphone is located in an area with internet connection you will be able to use these features.

Remote Connect allows you to use the Toyota App to complete select remote commands such as engine start/stop, door lock/unlock.

With the app, you also have the ability to see other useful information such as your vehicle’s parked location and details regarding its last trip as well as a driver score. If you have others driving your vehicle frequently, you can also benefit from a guest driver monitor feature.

Service Connect uses Toyota app to keep you connected to what is happening with your vehicle. Using the app, you can easily view vehicle health reports, service alerts and your maintenance schedule.

To get started with Toyota App, follow these steps: Download the Toyota App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once you have the app downloaded, you can easily create an account using your email, mobile phone number, or a social media login.

Add a vehicle to your garage by scanning the VIN located in the door jamb of your vehicle. If it is a compatible vehicle, you will see an image of it appear in your app along with the features it is equipped with.

If your vehicle is equipped with Remote Connect, this feature must be separately activated. To do this, select “Enter Authorization Code” and the App will send a passcode to the email account you used for registration. Once you have this passcode, enter it into the Remote Connect Authorization App which can be accessed in the App menu on your vehicle’s display screen.
